Fruits and Vegetables

                     Fruit and vegetables are very nutritious food. The children do not eat some of the fruits and vegetables. It is because they don't know the nutritious and health benefits of it. And also because the children says that some are sticky and slimy. Because of that it is the causes of malnutrition nowadays.

                     Fruit is rich in vitamins. Fruit is also rich in minerals. Fruits can be gathered in trees. There are fruits that children eat like apple,orange, mango,banana, grapes and sometimes strawberries. While there are fruits that children do not eat permanently like jack fruit, pear, avocado and pineapple.                       

                     Vegetables is also rich in vitamins and minerals. Vegetables are the main source of nutrients and energy. Vegetable can be harvest in backyard or in any soil you plant it. Vegetables like cabbage, carrots and other leafy vegetables are vegetables that children wants. While the vegetables like lady finger, bitter lemon and turnip are the vegetables that children do not eat permanently.

                     There are other  foods that contain vitamins and minerals. The vitamins and minerals you can get in fruits are potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, manganese, iron, sodium, copper and zinc. While the vitamins and minerals you can get in vegetables are Vitamin A, Vitamin B2, Folic Acid, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Vitamin K. And there are other vitamins and minerals that can get in fruits and vegetables.

                     If children eat fruits and vegetables they can get the vitamins and minerals. And the children who are under nourished cannot be under nourished anymore.
